Blackout is a simple iOS utility that lets you instantly silence your screen brightness, camera flash, and volume with one tap. This policy explains what data the app does — and does not — collect.
Blackout does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app operates entirely on your device and has no account system, no analytics, and no network requests.
Blackout does not request any sensitive device permissions (camera, microphone, location, contacts, etc.). It uses only public iOS system APIs to control screen brightness and device volume.
Blackout does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising, or crash reporting services.
Blackout does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. It is safe to use on devices belonging to children.
If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated with a new date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
